About Us
The JVF PTSO is a volunteer group created to enrich the JVF learning experience and build community among our students, families, teachers, and staff. We do this through educational programming, fun events, and fundraisers that benefit our school and families.
What We Do
We do a lot of great stuff throughout the year, in support of the school’s goals and our JVF families. We organize initiatives ranging from in-school assemblies and family fun nights to fundraisers and book fairs. Due to COVID-19, our programming this year is all virtual — but just as engaging!
Get Involved
Every member of the JVF community — across families and staff — is automatically a member of the PTSO. Everyone is welcome to attend meetings, vote, suggest ideas, and pitch in with their talents and time! It’s fun and free to get involved — and our success depends on your help!
Donate
Every dollar we raise goes toward supporting the school and JVF families. It’s free to be part of the PTSO, but if you’d like to make an optional donation, we always appreciate the extra support! You can also link your ShopRite loyalty card and Box Tops to help us earn more! Click below to learn more.
Latest News
In honor of Black History Month we hosted a Family Read-A-Loud Night on February 17th! Principal Sessoms-Wiggins, Mrs. Coleman, and the PTSO will host a virtual event featuring a reading of Mae Among the Stars by Roda Ahmed and a STEM Superstars trivia game! If you missed it live, catch up with the video recording and helpful resources on our News page.
