Our Mission
The J.V. Forrestal Parent-Teacher-Student Organization (JVF PTSO) is a volunteer group created to enrich the JVF experience and build community among our students, families, teachers, and staff. We do this through educational programming, fun events, and fundraisers that benefit our school and families.

Core Values
Through everything we do, we aim to foster these core values:
-
Curiosity
-
Creativity
-
Connectivity
-
Diversity
-
Equity
-
Inclusion
Membership
Every member of the JVF community — students, family members, teachers, and staff — is automatically a member of the PTSO. Everyone is welcome to attend meetings, vote, suggest ideas, and pitch in with their talents and time! It's fun and free to get involved — and our success depends on your help!
Meetings
The PTSO meets on a monthly basis, usually the second Tuesday of the month, alternating between 7pm and 4pm. This school year, most meetings have been conducted virtually via Zoom, but we are shifting back to in-person meetings starting in April 2022. Check our Calendar page to see upcoming meeting dates and locations.
Leadership
The PTSO is organized by an elected team of volunteers from the JVF community (known as our board members). Board members are normally elected at the end of each school year for the upcoming year. We encourage parents/guardians, teachers, and staff members to join the board or lead a committee — join us so we can do more! Contact us if you’d like to share your talents or time!
Our board members for the 2021–2022 school year are:
